Evangelical Chinese Church will be deliberating over the next month Creekside's proposal regarding purchase price and possible rental lease extension.
Please pray that the Lord would direct our (ECC and CCC's) hearts and intentions to God's will (1 Chronicles 29:18) and that our thoughts and perspectives would be of one accord and woven into God's perfect plan.
Thank you for praying, Creeksiders.

"Be joyful always, pray continuously, give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
Lord, we are thankful for the time we have had in these buildings and property. We are grateful for the new opportunities for personal growth and outreach because of this location.
We thank you for the November 17 congregational meeting and the communication that transpired.
We are thankful that the relationship with the Evangelical Chinese Church is one of mutual respect and desire of your will.
We ask for your continued guidance of the Leadership team for the next meeting with ECC in early December. Please go before us in preparation of the agenda and outcome of that meeting.
We thank you that you are in the midst of us and your plan is for good. (Jeremiah 29:11)

Heavenly Father, as we move forward with your guidance in decisions to be made regarding these buildings we occupy, help us to keep in our minds and hearts that:
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city the watchmen stand guard in vain. (Psalms 127:1-2)
We choose to trust in you with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. We choose to acknowledge you in all our ways so that our path is made straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
Thank you that we are your chosen people, called out of darkness into your light. (1 Peter 2:9)
In Jesus' name, Amen.

Born of God
As we wind down the busy month of September, there are some specific requests for prayer surrounding our new building and the process to determine God's will for Creekside. Thank you for your partnership in praying through these petitions.
Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and obey his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome. 4 Foreveryone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
- Please pray for timely attainment of pertinent information regarding possible purchase of these church buildings
- Pray for scheduling and ongoing meetings with Rollie Persson (Covenant Properties Staff)
- Pray for wisdom with scheduling and agenda for the next informational congregational meeting
- Pray for our next meeting with the Chinese Church – For wisdom and partnership
- Pray for our Leadership Team, Staff and Congregation as they discern and pray for the next steps on this building.

September 3 Prayer
Here is this week's prayer regarding our being in these current buildings.
Colossians 3:14 (Life Application Bible)
Let love guide our lives, for then the whole church will stay together in perfect harmony.
As we walk through each step toward a decision of possibly owning these premises, though diverse in perspectives, may we be unified by God's love as a family of Christ.
We pray through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

Prayer Launch
"If any of you is lacking in wisdom, ask God,
who gives to all generously and ungrudgingly,
and it will be given to you." James 1:5
O God, by Whom the meek are guided in judgment
and light rises up
in darkness for the godly;
grant us, in all our doubts and
uncertainties, the grace to ask what You would have us do.
That Your spirit of wisdom may save us from all the false choices,
that in Your light we may see light, and on Your straight path we may not stumble.
Through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
